Dr. Jing Chen, DAOM, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M, FABORM
After graduating from MIT with a Bachelor of Science in biology, Dr. Jing Chen worked as a biology research fellow, and later went on to work in the software industry. She earned a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Emperor’s College, and most recently received her Doctoral degree from Yo San University, where she specialized in Oriental Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Jing Chen’s training also includes an intensive externship at Jiang Xi University in Nan Chang, China, as well as a year-long fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. As part of her Master’s program, she also interned at UCLA’s Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center, and the Saban Free Clinic in West Hollywood.
Since she became a Licensed Acupuncturist in 2008, Dr. Jing Chen has had a diverse range of experiences, including working in an integrative internal medicine clinic, providing Chinese Medicine support in western fertility clinics, and working as an acupuncturist on luxury cruise ships. Dr. Jing Chen is committed to understanding the needs of each patient in order to help them achieve their individual goals. She provides effective, compassionate care while empowering patients with the tools they need to reach and maintain a state of balance and optimal health.
